 Day 1

  • Group arrive at Shannon Airport and are transferred to hotel.  If the rooms are not ready upon arrival, we would suggest that you explore Limerick City.  Afternoon free to rest.
  •  Depart hotel for Bunratty Castle for a mediaeval banquet.  The entertainment provided by the superb Bunratty Singers is a fitting compliment to a lively mead reception and a four course meal.

  • Morning free to take a walking tour of Limerick City.  Limerick, Ireland’s third largest city has lifelines stretching from Viking roots to contemporary high-tech industry. NEW2

Day 3

  •  Transfer from Limerick to Dublin.

Dublin is as sophisticated as a metropolis but still remains as intimate as a village as a friendly as a pub.  Mediaeval, Georgian and modern architecture provide a backdrop to a friendly bustling port.  Fine museums and art galleries chronicle its long and colourful heritage, while the pubs buzz with traditional entertainment, music sessions etc.

  •  Upon arrival in Dublin check into Hotel.
  • Afternoon panoramic city tour of Dublin and some free time for shopping or afternoon training session.

Day 4

  •  Day free to explore the many sights of Dublin and for shopping.  Visit Guinnness Storehouse, St. Patrick’s Cathedral and Trinity College.
  •  Evening Game

Day 5

  • Transfer from Dublin to Waterford via Kilkenny.
  • Free time to visit Kilkenny Castle and to explore the city.
  • After lunch travel to Waterford  – Waterford is the oldest city in Ireland. A walled city of Viking origins, it retains much of it’s medieval character together with the graceful buildings from its 18th century expansion. Reginald’s Tower is the most historic urban medieval monument in Ireland.
  •  Afternoon visit to the Waterford Crystal Factory

Day 6

  • Transfer from Waterford to Cork.En-route visit Midleton Distillery – A tour of the Jameson Experience is a journey through the story and making of Irish whiskey.  Time permitting visit Blarney Castle.  Blarney Castle is situated only 8km from Cork City and is most famous for its Stone, which has the traditional power of conferring eloquence on all who kiss it.
  • Afternoon free in Cork City.

  • This morning you are free to explore Killarney.

TORC WATERFALL: A short walk up a steep wide footpath leads to the Torc Waterfall, it has a fall of 60 feet/18 metres and the footpath leading up to it offers excellent views over the Killarney lakes. This waterfall is formed by a river which flows from the Punch Bowl high in the mountain and provides a spectacular display after a heavy rainfall.

ROSS CASTLE: This square medieval tower which was built by the O’ Donoghues in the 15th century is beautifully situated on the shores of Lough Lein. Now restored, the castle houses a fine collection of 16th and 17th century oak furniture.

KILLARNEY LAKE TOURS: The M.V. “Pride of the Lakes” and “Lily of Killarney” depart from Ross Castle on the shores of Lough Lein , 2 km from Killarney town. Cruise sailing the lake in the comfort and safety of a covered heated and modern vessel see the breath-taking scenes of gentle lowland, scattered islands in the shadow of the towering ruggedness of the McGullycuddy Reeks mountain range. A full commentary is given while you sit back and take in the magnificent scenery.

GAP OF DUNLOE: Carved by the miltwater of a huge glacier thousands of years ago, the Gap is about seven miles in length with Tomies and Purple mountains on the left and the McGillycuddy Reeks in the right. Many walk or cycle but for the romantic, a journey “Thro’ the Gap” in a pony and trap returning by boat via the Killarney Lakes is the only way experience the magic of the Gap – a magnificent unforgettable trip not to be missed.
